Volta 4 is the oldest known planet in the universe. It's considered a shallow water world, as it's covered entirely in shallow swamp land. Towering forests dominate the landscape as far as the eye can see. It's atmosphere is so thick and oxygen rich that invading starships have yet to touch the surface of Volta 4 without burning up like a rogue meteor. This makes Volta 4 and it's inhabitants unconquerable by any foreign force, though the planet has been thoroughly studied from a distance by tens of thousands of civilizations.

The astounding stability of Volta 4’s solar system has allowed life to evolve and advance uninterrupted for over 750 million years. All life forms on the planet have bones so dense they can only be broken by the teeth of other Voltan creatures or weapons made from them. The oxygen rich atmosphere has created a life expectancy of around 500 years for the average Voltan.

All modern Voltans have the ability to summon electricity straight from the core of the planet. The discovery of this ability led to civil war and the extinction of the Furians, a long forgotten reptilian species. The Furians had evolved long before the modern Voltans and were the original founders of Volta 4’s hydroelectric properties.

Kelta Kostas was the first Voltan to learn hydroelectric manifestation. The Furians had oppressed the Voltans for millions of years with powerful electric walls entrapping them in large swaths of land across the world. No Furians ventured into these areas, and no Voltans ventured out. The Voltans had relied on hunting their open air prison areas for food, but they overpopulated and now were slowly starving to death.

Kelta Kostas taught tens of thousands of his fellow Voltans hydroelectric manifestation and they simply waited. Finally, on their day of liberation, the Voltans unleashed hell. They had perfected their use of Volta 4’s endless energy bank. All at once, every square inch of the planet outside of the Furian made prison areas were supercharged to unfathomable temperatures for just 3 seconds.

Every living reptilian Furian dropped in a heap, charred dead and gone. The entire planet was lightly charred except for the areas where the Voltans had been imprisoned. The Voltans were not only free, but now had an entire planet to rebuild, and they had their undisputed leader for the effort.

Kelta Kostas was crowned King of Volta 4 for freeing his species. His people have spent the last 377 years flourishing under his rule. He is a highly respected and generous king and has earned the adoration of his people. At 437 years old, he is considered an old man and spends his days as a peaceful yet incredibly powerful king.
